Inventory Specialist
B & B Gates & Supply Inc., located near Doon, Iowa, is seeking a Full-Time Inventory Specialist for our ag supply store.
The qualified candidate will retain visibility on all products from purchase order to sale to maintain an accurate inventory. This trustworthy individual will actively engage with vendors, ordering products and receiving them into inventory. Working closely with our department and office managers, this position will ensure desired and necessary goods are accounted for and available in a timely fashion.

Duties:
Research and purchase cost-effective, quality goods on schedule.
Maintain and seek relationships with suppliers.
Receive goods while maintaining accurate records and processes, with the key goal of sustaining an accurate inventory.
Maintain accurate records utilizing our inventory platform.
Conduct regular inventory counts.
Collaborate with Parts, Service, Cattle, and Swine departments to accurately forecast product needs.
Supply Service Technicians with parts for their daily service work.
Prepare reports to provide insight on material flows and cost analysis.
Qualifications:
High level of competence with computer applications and prior experience with inventory systems and inventory control.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Collaborative spirit.
Prior experience and knowledge of livestock equipment and related parts, especially swine equipment, is preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to multitask and prioritize while working with various orders and duties.
Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
